Why are vertu phones so expensive?
I saw one for 22,000 and there seems to be nothing special about them. I don’t think nokia will ever have such an expensive phone, even if was fully gold and encrusted with diamonds, so why is Vertu so expensive? They aren’t even colour!
i think its all about brand marketing, the people who must be behind their marketing must be wizards! yes, they are made out of incredibly expensive materials (pltinum, gold, diamonds etc..) but not enough to add up to 22000 you would think! they are hand made in england bla bla bla but its more about creating a hype and the status the phone then provides. i guess if you saw someone with that phone (apart from thinking there was probably a million things you would rather buy with 22000) you would be pretty inquisitive as to who they are, how come they have so much money to spend on a phone etc etc (well i would anyway!) and i guess thats what they want – its all about the bling! and thats the only phone which provides some serious bling!
