@karedward all your descriptions about your phone are normal. n97 mini is built like that. hey anyway, could u please do me a favor? try to record a video, and see if the background sound is stable throughout the video or not, because there are some mini that when recording video, the background sound at first will be loud, then it’ll turn slower. at some point throughout the video, it’ll turn loud again
@v794 When the keyboard is closed, i notice a slightly larger gap between the screen and keyboard part of the pone at the bottom,is this normal?look, the gap at the bottom end is marginally larger than the top end. Hmm. do you have that too? i think its normal, but if you hold at the bottom end, you’ll feel something faulty??

@v794 yes there’s a little flex in the plastic screen surround up above the earpiece. are you facing that problem too?? hahah. i thought its just me…how about the slide out?did you feel it’s solid?how about if its not in slide out? just in portrait mode, try pressing at the right side, coz i feel there’s a little loose on it.. thanks..
@karedward ohh i think i get it now.. u mean u can feel a slight bump on the black area above the screen right? which places earpiece, accelerometer and the 2nd camera, as well as the nokia logo. if that so, yeah mine also has that slight bump. it can be felt when u press and drag ur finger from the screen to the earpiece. i think your phone is fine, there’s nothing to worry about =)
i got the n97 mini, its very nice phone, people say its shit becaouse when you buy the phone you need to charge it at leest 12hr, if u dont do then you will get many many problems,

@v794 imea, there’s a little curve near the earpiece. if you press it from screen through, the earpiece, you will notice that there’s like sa curve something. i dont know if that is normal or not? if you have, then it’s normal=D. anyways,my phone is made in china, i got the cherry black.
