@oddworldish No prob, 3G works here on any unlocked phone. Might be considering getting a Sony ericsson Satio or HTC desire.. hmm

@Gunmetallic91 No because the e73 is made specifically for T-Mobile’s 3G network. You can however buy an E72 from Dell or Amazon to use with T-Mobile. It will only have GPRS/Edge for data though.

@ltsStevenT The E73 is the E72 modified to support T-Mobile’s 1700 Mhz 3G. Unfortunately there is not one that supports both, so if you want 3G with T-Mobile go for the E73, otherwise I’d get the E72 which hasn’t been touched by a carrier.

Have you heard about the E73 Mode? Would you suggest the E72 or should I just wait a little longer for the E73?

@Gunmetallic91 T-mobile USA went straight for the E73.

The E series moving to touchscreen? Even though I’ll get my first smartphone in a few days (this one), the main feature that brought me to this one (in addition to the awesome battery life), is the QWERTY keyboard. Touchscreen phones aren’t really catering much to a business-orientiation (unless it’s a touchscreen with a slide-out QWERTY a la the N97).

@aceswild81 Video recording is pretty limited on the E series, it can can do decent resolution but only at 15fps. N series devices are better for recording video — stick with the N96.

@kanervatie N97 mini is great – beside the N900 that’s my top Nokia pick.

@siglosgab Unfortunately no — Nokia predominately focuses on GSM carriers so unlocked phones will only work on T-mobile and At&t here in the US.

@thajman123 X6 unless you really need that keyboard on the E72.

@blitzbud What country will you be using it? The E73 just came out for T-mobile and is only 69.99 on contract or free today only if you do a family plan.

I think Blackberry devices are good if you need them because work requires, but for personal use I prefer Nokia.
