I had this phone and I really liked it. You can create/edit office documents, it has multitasking, and is highly customizable but easy to use. My company switched to iphones and in a lot of ways I like the E71 a lot more. The iphone just seems like a toy that is only good for downloading and playing around with apps but when it comes to an actual phone and PDA abilities, the E71 is better. The iphone 3GS does have a superior camera and video recording than the E71 however.

The main other thing that this phone offers is the built in GPS. Compared to phones like Blackberry or Samsung or LG etc, which offer GPS the other phones make you have a data plan to use the GPS on their phones, but the Nokia E71 has the GPS built in the phone so you dont need the internet or data plan to use the GPS, just another great option this phone has!

I had this phone and I changed it for the E63 with free bluetooth gps adapter because the E71 keeps heating up . If you on a voice call for only a few mins it burns the ear. The Nokia phones that use metallic casing all heat up.
