Nokia Booklet Netbook

Netbook related (Nokia Booklet 3G)?

I am looking for a netbook, I like the look of the Toshiba NB200, however the Nokia Booklet 3G will be released soon. Anyone know if it worth waiting and all the extra money? Cheers

The Booklet 3G will be more expensive than other netbooks (Nokia announced that the list price of the Booklet 3G is more than $800). Based on that fact alone I would not recommend it.

Important things for you to consider are how important battery life is to you, how big of a screen do you want, and what type of operating system you plan to use.

If you really want long battery life, I would recommend getting a smaller sized laptop or a netbook. I’m not sure how big of a screen you are looking for, but the ASUS EEE 1000he has great battery life and also a 11″ display.

It has enough power to do all of the things that you would typically need for school work. It has the necessities of built in Wi-Fi, built in webcam, Windows XP instead of Vista and so on. It also has a pretty affordable price.

More details on this ASUS EEE 1000he, as well as advice and info about other laptops and netbooks that should fit within your budget, is at the link below.

If you will be commissioning booklet printing, then one of your considerations is the type of binding that you will use. There are many different types of binding options available, each of which has its own uses and images.

Hardcover binding

One effective method of advertising is to commission powerful booklet printing. Essentially, a booklet is a mini book, which allows you to share more information than a brochure or a flyer. While booklet printing is generally utilized as a sales method, it should also give helpful information to the reader, offering content of value. This will encourage customers to keep the booklet, increasing their chances of placing an order with your company. Here are some ways that you can make your booklet stand out from the competition.

The story booklet

The story booklet is one form of booklet printing that is mainly designed to be informational. If you want to use this booklet format, it is a good idea to make it in a size that can easily be mailed and handed out. For example, sizing like it a brochure with extra pages will allow you to mail it to clients easily.

While this type of booklet printing is designed to sell, its main purpose should be to entertain or inform. For example, if you are advertising your mechanic shop, you can use the booklet as a way to educate your clients about the top ten repairs that will extend the life of their vehicle.

Make the booklet easy to read with plenty of subheadings and visuals. Keep illustration styles the same throughout the booklet. Provide interactive pages, such as offering a checklist or a list of FAQs. Don’t forget to include a call of action and all your pertinent contact information.

The incentive booklet

This style of booklet printing is meant to be used as a sales incentive. Often, it will include coupons or valuable offers, making it a printed piece that the customer will want to keep. Size and shape do not matter as much for this style, since you will usually hand it directly to your customer as part of your promotion.

Consider using a theme to portray your marketing message. Themes can range from holidays to the types of products you are selling to simple artwork created in a similar style. This pulls the booklet together. Use headlines as a way to draw attention to important information, and make sure that coupons and other valuable offers are highlighted so that readers will see them. Don’t forget that coupons may need barcodes, disclaimers, or other information to make sure that they are not duplicated illegally.

The demonstration booklet

This type of booklet printing is designed to demonstrate a product or service to make it seem more appealing to the customer. Again, a size that is easy to mail is a good idea to make it easier to send.

This booklet should include mostly information about the product, including illustrations, demonstrative pictures, and links to websites where the reader can find out more information. Choose a color scheme to use throughout the booklet printing – often a feature in your logo colors will help to tie everything together.

When commissioning booklet printing, you want to combine eye-catching design with information that the reader perceives to be of value. Whether you are telling them how to use your products, offering special savings on your services, or simply educating them on your line of work, the booklet printing should offer them something that they will want to keep.
