Nokia Bh-905
Can I use the Nokia BH-905 to play online with the PS3? I would also like to use them to watch movies in it.?
I play until late and don’t want to wake others, and since it is a Bluetooth headphone I don’t know if it only works in-game and I wouldn’t like spending $300 that wouldn’t work. Could you recommend me some? Wireless? That is my budget, I want audio quality.

Well there has been a lot of hype and build up to the release of the new Nokia X6. I personally have been waiting expectantly for it. And to my great joy I got hold of one on Monday. I live in Sweden and Finland is just up the road and of course Nokia releases the phone there first. Originally I was going to purchase the red and black version but after comparing that colour scheme side by side with the blue and white version, I opted for the blue and white. The black and red looks sleek and even sexy in photographs but I have to say that in real life it looked a little gaudy and kind of false. It made the handset look a little like a childs plastic toy phone. On the other hand the Blue and White looked crisp, clean and very mature.
The Nokia X6 has its knockers who say that it can not justify the high price seeing as it is not such an improvement on the 5800. Well that can be debated for many months more. However one thing that is for sure is that it is a step up on the 5800. It has 35 hours of music playback, 32GB of on board memory, a 5 mega pixel camera and Carl Zeiss optics. The 3.2 inch widescreen display finishes of the front of the handset stunningly.
Anyway on getting home with my new Nokia X6 I ripped open the box eagerly to see what was included. Inside was of course the handset and the Nokia battery model number BL-5J. The charger was the highly efficient charger AC8, and the connectivity cable was the Nokia cable CA-101. To listen to your music Nokia included the stereo headset WH-500 which is good enough to use but however I think I shall upgrade that to the Nokia Bluetooth stereo headset Bh-905 for better sound quality. There was also a mini DVD included and the operating manual was/is very good and easy to use and understand.
I have been using the phone now for 4 days and am very pleased with it. The voice clarity of the call you receive, I have to say, is exceptional and very crisp. It’s actually like having a personal conversation with someone standing next to you. The music and the Nokia music store we all know about so there’s no need for me to write about that. The camera I have used and the pictures were ok, but nothing special. Now whether that is because I do not have the photographic abilities of David Bailey I’ve yet to decide. But to be honest I do have a feeling the camera has been a little over-hyped.
The handset is a very nice weight and fits snugly in the hand as it does in the pocket and I have noticed a few envious glances when I have been using it. But there is no question it is a fantastic looking mobile phone so that is to be expected I reckon. I can’t find fault with the phone actually apart from it being a touch screen. Yes this is wonderful technology and all of that. but I am a person with not so thin fingers and keep finding myself at places in the handset that I’m not supposed to be at. But once I get the hang of it I’m sure all will be ok and be very easy to operate.
Going back to the price of the phone after owning it now I don’t think it is too overpriced as a lot of people are saying. It’s a fully loaded phone with an awful lot of technology and if it has the quality of construction that Nokia handsets usually have then I shall have at least 5 years worth of usage from this mobile phone. I am happy with my purchase and definitely in the “for” Nokia X6 camp. But that’s the beauty of life. We have our own opinions and make our own decisions. I do not regret one bit buying my Nokia X6.
My name is Paul Garnett and I live and work in Sweden. I have a love for the outdoors and most outdoor sports.
