But hey, the screen is good, the OS looks ok, the keyboard seems good, it’s pretty slim (except for the bulky camera), good battery. You came so close to actually making a Blackberry-killer.

So many weird design decisions: why is the volume rocker three buttons instead of one, like on htc phones? Why does the top look incredibly cheap since it’s lacking the metal frame and hence makes the phone look like it’s been cut with scissors? Why isn’t the sd-slot underneath the battery (it’s not like I switch sd-cards every minute) so that the former problem could have been somewhat avoided? Why not auto-focus? Why not at least a 1 gigahertz processor so that the phone doesn’t lag?

i do look forward to this one, however i find 450 eur a bit much and for my taste the screen could have been an inch bigger.

Nice device! How much will this cost around in the UK? Hopefully rather than competing with Blackberry, Nokia better undercut them!

i think the space bar is too big like the one E71 had, pefer the size of E72′s. I always press it accidently while press v,b,n,m.
how can I take a clear shot for my documents? just using the [full focus] 8MP??
By the way, when would it be sold in HK?

Email is very important for this type of phone. I hope:

    1) Outlook works/syncs well with it.
    2) Phone’s email client can fetch emails from multiple accounts.
    3) Setting up email accounts is not a pain in the ass.

@javaexcel No, this is not a multitouch. The screen is TFT, not AMOLED.

Therefore, the E6 is a touch and type phone.

Unfortunately, it lacks auto-focus. Which is quite a disappointment for an 8MP camera.

Touch+HiRes screen is a welcome change
    Is is multitouch?
Flat bottom of the face surface does not look attractive to me: resembles blackberry.
Updating perfect E71/72 design with new internals would also make sense — less development/production cost, happy return owners.
With the touchscreen, the need for the application buttons, big joystick is debatable: making screen 50% bigger leaving only qwerty keyboard possibly could gain an advantage.

2 year E71 user, looking to move to E72 or now E6
