Does GSM 850/1900MHz Cell phone band work in Alaska?
I’m looking to buy a new phone (the Motorola F3 to be specific) but am unsure what bands will work in Alaska. I know a quad-band phone works world-wide, but that’s about it. I’m pretty sure a phone with the GSM 850/1900MHz Bands will work in the contiguous United States, but what about Alaska? Thanks.
850/1900 are the two bands used for voice in the United States, and that includes Alaska. 900/1800 are the equivalent for Europe.
